More About This Item

The Cole-Parmer® industrial bimetal thermometers feature NEMA 4X/IP66 protection for demanding applications. Accuracy is ±1% of full scale when the stem is immersed 2" in liquids or 4" in gases. For models with a 2.5" stem length, the stem should be immersed 2" in gases. Stem length is measured from the top of the threads to the bottom of the stem tip. The stem diameter is 0.25" with a ½" NPT(M) back connection. The maximum overtemperature for thermometers with a maximum temperature of 250°F is 100% of span, while thermometers with a maximum temperature of 550°F have a maximum overtemperature of 50% of span. The ambient temperature range is –40 to 200°F (–40 to 93°C).

Designed with user functionality and performance in mind, the HI93501 is a waterproof thermistor thermometer that measures temperature from -50.0 to 150.0°C (-58.0 to 302.0°F). The included batteries provide up to 4,500 hours of continuous use.
